Wild Camping Near A Haunted Village!
In this adventure, I hike the North Downs Way to explore the hauntingly beautiful ruins of the Lost Village of Dode — an abandoned medieval site nestled in the Kent countryside. With its restored 900-year-old church and quiet woodland surroundings, the atmosphere is steeped in mystery and solitude.
After soaking in the history, I wild camp nearby, cooking a meal and bedding down under the stars with only the sounds of the woods around me. It's a peaceful, eerie, and unforgettable night in one of the most unusual locations I’ve ever camped.
If you enjoy quiet hikes, historical locations, and wild camping with atmosphere, this is one to watch.
